Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · 17 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

Albert One is operated by Albert Connect Company, a Delaware corporation (file number 10768163), 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States ("Albert", "we").

These Terms govern your use of the Albert One API, its console at albertone.albert-connect.com, its documentation and every module it gives access to: Ask Albert, the Albert Voice Agent and Albert Connect (together, the "Service"). "You" means the company or person who opens an account and every person it lets use the console or its keys.

By creating an account, creating a key or calling the API you accept these Terms. If you act for a company, you confirm you may bind it.

2. Your account, your team and your keys

You give true information when you sign up and keep it current. You choose who joins your team and with which role, and you are responsible for everything done with your account and your keys.

Keys are secrets. Keep them on your servers, never in an app or a web page a user can read. If a key leaks, roll or revoke it at once in the console. Sandbox keys (ak_test_) never book, call or dispatch anything; live keys (ak_live_) act for real and require an active subscription.

We may suspend a key or an account that puts the Service, our partners or the people they serve at risk, and we tell you why unless the law or the risk forbids it.

3. What the Service does

Ask Albert is an AI concierge. It recommends places from a collection curated by Albert and files missions when your user wants something arranged. Its answers are generated by AI: they can be incomplete or wrong, and you present them to your users as such.

The Albert Voice Agent is an AI that telephones a venue to make a booking for your user. It says it is an AI voice assistant when asked, never claims to be human, gives Albert One's own number when a number is asked, and never gives a card or payment details. For now it calls restaurants in the United States only. A booking is confirmed only when the venue confirms it; Albert does not guarantee a table, a time or a price.

Albert Connect hands a mission to an independent concierge of the Albert Connect network. Access to it is reviewed by Albert and may be refused or withdrawn. Concierges are independent professionals, not Albert employees; what they arrange is agreed between them and your user under the Albert Connect Terms of Use.

The Sandbox, open to every account with sandbox keys (ak_test_), is fully simulated: its answers, places, calls and concierges are fictional, nothing is booked, called or billed, and it carries the limits shown in the console. Live mode, with live keys (ak_live_), requires an active subscription. We may change, add or remove features; we give at least 30 days' notice before removing an endpoint you use in live mode, unless security or the law requires faster.

4. What you may and may not do

You may build the Service into your own products for your own users, show Ask Albert's recommendations to them, and keep the data your users give you.

You may not: copy, store, index, resell or rebuild the curated places (names, descriptions, photos, addresses, ratings) beyond what a single user's request needs, or keep them more than 24 hours except a place your user booked or saved; use the Service to build or train a competing directory, dataset or model; send requests that are not made by or for a real user of your product; place calls to venues for anything other than a genuine booking request; ask the Voice Agent to deceive, harass, threaten or impersonate anyone; use the Service for anything unlawful, for gambling, adult services, weapons or any purpose a venue or concierge could not lawfully serve; probe, overload or work around limits, quotas, the spending cap or security; share a key with a third party.

We watch for patterns that look like copying of the collection. An account flagged this way may be asked to explain its use and may be suspended.

5. Your users and their data

You are responsible for your relationship with your users: your terms, your privacy notice and the consents you need to send their requests to us, including their name, the details of what they want and, where a booking needs it, how the venue may recognise them.

We process your users' data to provide the Service, as your service provider for that purpose, and under our Privacy Policy for our own legitimate needs (security, fraud prevention, billing, improving the Service). We do not sell it. Request and response bodies are kept in your request log for 14 days and log lines for 90 days. A data processing agreement is available for Enterprise customers.

Phone calls made by the Voice Agent may be recorded and transcribed to confirm and report the booking. You must not send us data you are not allowed to share, or special categories of data (health, beliefs and the like) beyond what a request strictly needs, such as an allergy.

6. Plans, fees and payment

Prices are those shown on the website and in the console when you choose a plan: Pay as you go (metered, with volume tiers), monthly subscriptions with a quota per module and overage billed beyond it, and Enterprise contracts on quote. The Voice Agent is billed per second, with one minute at least for every call placed, whatever its outcome. Albert Connect carries a monthly fee and the transaction fees set out in the Albert Connect Terms of Use.

Payment is taken by Stripe on behalf of Albert. Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Usage is billed in arrears. Pay as you go accounts have a monthly spending cap; requests beyond it are refused until the invoice is paid or the cap is raised.

Prices exclude taxes, which are added where the law requires. Unpaid amounts may lead to suspension after notice. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next billing period.

7. Ownership

The Service, the curated collection, the Albert and Albert One names and marks, and everything we provide remain ours or our licensors'. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms while your account is active.

Your products, your data and your users' data remain yours. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and fast, but it is provided as is and as available, without a guaranteed uptime except where an Enterprise contract says otherwise. Third parties the Service relies on (AI models, telephone carriers, venues, payment providers) can fail; we are not responsible for their failures.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits or lost data; and Albert's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.

Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You indemnify Albert against claims arising from your products, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your users' requests.

10. Ending

You may close your account at any time from the console. We may end these Terms with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach. On ending, your keys stop working, amounts due remain due, and sections 4, 5, 7, 9 and 11 survive.

11. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. The state and federal courts sitting in Delaware have jurisdiction, except that Albert may bring a claim where you are established.

We may update these Terms. We tell you by email and in the console at least 30 days before a change takes effect; continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept it.
